Pouch of notelets

I loved Joanna Wardle's Silhouette Cards in the October 2010 Craft Stamper magazine, so I used the technique to make a set of notelets together with a pouch as a gift. Distress inks used for the background squares and rectangles and the images stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black. They are quick to make - it probably takes longer to mask off the shape than to ink and stamp!

New baby

The baby images for these two cards were purchased from DigiStamp Boutique. They were coloured with Copic markers, as was the ribbon and the flower images on the bottom card which was the free stamp with the current (March) Craft Stamper magazine. The flowers on the top card were stamped with Brilliance Pearlescent Blue Sky onto blue vellum.

It's that bird again!

Here is a simple card using the bird stamp CI -179 from Crafty Individuals. The base card is 3.75 inches square. I stamped the image twice using Versafine Majestic Blue, cutting out the frame from one piece and attaching it to the other image with foam pads. Pale blue flat back pearls finished it off.

ATC'S

Among other things, Issue 23 of the online Cardmaking Paradise magazine shows how to use Vaseline to create a resist. "Interesting idea" I thought so happily accepted a general challenge on the CP forum to have a go and the first two atc's below are the result!
I stamped the card with Crafty Individuals flourish CI-182 using Vaseline instead of ink and then painted over the card with watercolour paint. The butterfly and the bird (both stamps from Crafty Individuals) were stamped onto Wild Honey and Rusty Hinge Distress Inked card (twice) then sprayed with Cosmic Shimmer Rich Gold and 3d'd onto the background.

It was Stamperama last Sunday and since I was meeting up with some on-line buddies from the Cardmaking Paradise forum I made some other atc's as gifts.

The stamp is a freebie from Craft Stamper magazine and the background circles are freebie screw-type bottle tops from Sainsbury's! I used Versafine Black Onyx ink (and the computer to create the words).

The backgrounds on these two were "painted" with Cut-n- Dry foam using Distress Inks Worn Lipstick and Spun Sugar (over-stamped with Worn Lipstick). The image, which was coloured with Copics, and the words came from Crafty Individuals plate CI-277.

When I was little I loved R L Stevenson's "A Child's Garden of Verse" and this poem in particular. I thought it just perfectly fitted with this image (I'm sure they used my little grandson as a model) which comes from the same plate as the girls on the previous atc's. The background paper is from Crafty Individuals "The Seaside" collection. I coloured the child with Copics and the sun was another Craft Stamper freebie coloured with Distress Inks.

Finally Stamp Addicts were hosting an atc swap at the show so I thought I might as well throw my hat into that ring too! I used Distress Inks for the background and the script. The butterfly and words are from Darkroom Door Wildflower Collection and the flight line is by Fourth Dimension. The butterfly was coloured in with Sakura Gelly Roll.
